We were engaged to assist with two efforts in parallel for this client, working directly with multiple C-level executives.

The first was to conduct an audit of their the corporate strategy, innovation strategy and the innovation portfolio with the goal of assessing whether they were fully aligned.   Based on our assessment, we found a significant disconnect between the innovation strategy and the current portfolio of initiatives underway.  Together with the client, we worked to rationalize and prioritize their innovation portfolio to better support the requirements of the innovation strategy.

In parallel, we conducted a series of our proprietary Radical Innovation Academies (“RIA”), designed to train cross-functional teams of researchers, scientists, business developers, and general managers in defining, validating and communicating the commercial potential of their projects.  These RIAs provided directed insights on how to develop and execute ideas that support the innovation and corporate strategy of their company.
